Junk Removal across Staten Island and Richmond County
A lot of what gets called "junk removal" is really a labor service — a crew shows up, hauls your stuff to a truck themselves, and bills for the hours. What we offer is different: we drop a container at your property and leave it with you.
That matters on Staten Island specifically because the city's own free curbside bulk pickup only goes so far — New York City's Department of Sanitation caps bulk pickup at six items per collection day and does not cover renovation or construction debris, so anything beyond a couch and a mattress or two on the curb needs another answer. You load our container on your own timeline, at whatever pace the job actually takes, and call us when it's time for pickup — no hourly labor charge stacking up while you and a crew carry furniture down the driveway.
How it works
A straightforward process, start to finish
The same five steps whether it is a driveway cleanout or a live jobsite swap.
- 1
Call and tell us the job
One short conversation. We ask what you are clearing, where the box needs to sit and when you need it. No forms, no waiting on an email.
- 2
We size it and quote it flat
You get one flat-rate number covering delivery, the rental period, pickup and disposal — depending on the size you need, the debris type and how long you keep it. If a smaller box does the job we will say so.
- 3
Delivered on boards, where you want it
The driver walks the spot with you, lays protection under the rails and sets the container square in the driveway, curb lane or job site.
- 4
Load at your own pace
Keep it level with the top rail and keep the banned items out. Need a swap mid-job or an early pickup? One call and we are on it.
- 5
We haul it and sort it right
Clean concrete, metal and yard waste get routed for recovery rather than buried wherever we can. You get your driveway or curb back the way you left it.
On your schedule, not ours
Downsizing, an estate to clear out, a storefront closing up, years of accumulated stuff in a garage or attic — these jobs rarely fit into a single afternoon window, and paying by the hour for a crew standing around while you decide what stays and what goes doesn't make sense for every situation. With a container sitting on your property, you work through it in the order that makes sense to you, over however many evenings or weekends it takes within the rental period.
Beyond what curbside pickup can take
DSNY's free bulk program is genuinely useful for a handful of items — an old appliance, a bed frame, a couple of bags of clothes — but it draws firm lines: recyclable metal items go out the night before your recycling day, non-recyclable furniture and bundled wood go out the night before your regular bulk-trash day, mattresses have to be bagged, and construction or renovation debris isn't accepted at all. Once a cleanout is bigger than a handful of curbside items, a container you can fill at your own pace is usually the simpler answer.
An estate cleanout on an older Staten Island property, a garage or attic that hasn't been touched in years, or a small storefront closing up all fit this model well. If a job turns out to need actual hauling labor, say so on the call and we'll tell you plainly whether that's something we handle or something you'll want extra hands for.

Answers
Junk Removal — your questions
How is this different from a full-service junk removal company?
A full-service company sends a crew to haul your items out themselves and typically charges by labor hour. We deliver a container and leave it with you — you load it yourself, on your own timeline, for one flat rate with no hourly labor charge.
Isn't curbside bulk pickup free? Why do I need a dumpster?
DSNY's free bulk program caps out at six items per collection day and doesn't cover construction or renovation debris. Once a cleanout goes past a handful of curbside items, a container is the more practical option.
How long can I keep the container?
Our standard rental period gives you plenty of time to work through a cleanout at your own pace. Need longer? Call and we'll extend it.
Do I need to be home when it's picked up?
No — as long as the container is accessible and loaded within the weight and fill guidelines, our driver can pick it up without you present.
Do you handle estate cleanouts?
Regularly — clearing a family member's home is one of the most common calls we get, and the load-at-your-own-pace model tends to fit that kind of job especially well, since there's rarely a single clean afternoon to get it all done.
