Who we are

A local team, not a national franchise

Staten Island Dumpster Rental Solutions runs roll-off dumpster rental for homeowners, contractors and businesses across Richmond County — straight, flat-rate pricing and a container delivered by the same company you talked to on the phone. When you call (718) 808-9313, you're booking directly with the company that stands behind your delivery — our truck, our team, our yard, start to finish. There's no outside crew or subcontracted driver in someone else's paint, and no third-party referral network standing between you and the people running the truck.

Our regular route stays focused on Staten Island and the neighborhoods around it that make up the core of Richmond County — Tottenville, Great Kills, Annadale, Eltingville, New Dorp and St. George. It's the same ground our drivers cover every week, which is exactly why we can tell you plainly what a delivery to your street actually involves instead of reading it off a script.

How we run

A small team, not a call center

Every call to (718) 808-9313 rings a real desk connected to our 6845 Amboy Rd yard, not a national dispatch queue reading off a script. It's a small team on purpose — people who know a South Shore cul-de-sac or a St. George block when they hear it described, can size a container over the phone without guessing, and are still there the next time you call. We'd rather stay small and know the ground we cover than grow past the point of actually knowing it.

Debris sorted for recovery on a Staten Island Dumpster Rental Solutions job in Staten Island, NY

Doing right by Richmond County

We route clean concrete, metal, unpainted wood and other recoverable material toward recovery wherever a job allows it, and we're plain with customers about what has to come out of a load before it ever reaches the scale. It's the same instinct behind Staten Island's own real "Borough of Parks" reputation — more than 170 parks and roughly 12,000 acres of protected green space, a title NYC Parks itself uses — and it's part of why we route debris the right way rather than the fastest way.

What we stand on

Things we will not trade away

  • Local, not a call center

You reach a real Staten Island team, not a national dispatch queue. The person who answers knows which Richmond County streets a loaded roll-off can actually turn onto and which local rules apply that day.

  • Flat-rate pricing, no surprises

Delivery, the rental period, pickup and disposal rolled into one flat-rate price based on the size you book, the debris type and how long you keep it. If something would push you over, we tell you before the truck ever leaves the yard.

  • Same-day when you need it

Call early and most Staten Island and Richmond County orders go out the same or next day. Live jobsite swap-outs get priority over everything else on the schedule.

  • Run by Vincent Marchetti

Founder & CEO Vincent Marchetti and the Staten Island Dumpster Rental Solutions team coordinate every delivery out of our 6845 Amboy Rd yard — not a national dispatch desk. We know which Richmond County roads a loaded roll-off can actually reach.

  • The right box, not the biggest

Weight fills a container long before volume does. We will talk you into the smaller can if that is the honest answer for your job.

  • Loads sorted the right way

Metals, masonry, unpainted wood, drywall, carpet and clean concrete all get routed for recovery instead of buried wherever's easiest — we will tell you what has to come out of the box before it ever reaches the scale.

Where we work

Staten Island, New York

Staten Island — Richmond County on the map, and "Staten Island" in nearly everyone's mouth since the Dutch first called it Staaten Eylandt after the States General of the Dutch Republic — didn't actually become the borough's own official legal name until 1975; before that, it was formally the Borough of Richmond, itself named in 1683 for the Duke of Richmond. At 102.5 square miles it's the third-largest of the five boroughs by land area and the least populous, and it holds a few genuine superlatives: Todt Hill, at 401 feet, is the highest natural point anywhere in New York City; Ward's Point, out past Tottenville, is the southernmost point in New York State; and it's the only borough with no land border to another borough, separated from the rest of the city by open water and connected to New Jersey instead by three bridges. Longtime residents still call it the "Forgotten Borough" — a real, informal nickname, not an official one, that traces to decades of feeling overlooked by a Manhattan-centered city — but it's just as often called the "Borough of Parks," a title NYC Parks itself uses for a borough that packs in more than 170 parks across roughly 12,000 acres of protected green space.

Some of that green space has a direct connection to our own line of work. Freshkills Park, out on the West Shore, was once Fresh Kills Landfill — for decades the largest landfill in the world — before the city permanently closed it to municipal waste on March 22, 2001. It's been converting into parkland ever since, with its first public section opening in October 2023 and full build-out still years away — one of the more remarkable waste-to-green-space stories anywhere in the country, and a project we keep an eye on given what we do for a living. Closer to daily practice, DSNY's free citywide bulk pickup covers up to six household items per collection day, but it explicitly does not cover construction or renovation debris — that gap is exactly what a private dumpster rental is built to fill, and it's the most common reason a homeowner calls us instead of just waiting for trash day.

The Verrazzano-Narrows Bridge, which opened November 21, 1964 and was engineered under the direction of Othmar Ammann — the same engineer behind the George Washington Bridge — was the longest suspension bridge in the world at its opening, with a main span of 4,260 feet. A contracting-document typo left it stamped as the "Verrazano-Narrows Bridge" with a single z for over five decades; New York corrected the spelling to the historically accurate "Verrazzano" by law in 2018, honoring the Italian explorer Giovanni da Verrazzano, credited with the first recorded European sighting of the island back in 1524. It's the backdrop of one of our own team photos, taken with the bridge rising in the distance — a small reminder that we're a Staten Island company through and through, not a national brand with a local-sounding name. And because Staten Island has no subway connection to the rest of the city — the free Staten Island Ferry to Lower Manhattan and the Staten Island Railway between St. George and Tottenville are the closest things to rail transit here — our drivers plan routes around the same bridges and the same ferry every other business on this island depends on. Staten Island's population stood at 495,747 at the 2020 Census, with more recent estimates putting the borough at roughly 501,000 — any figure past the official Census count is our own rough estimate, not a confirmed number.

Meet the work

What a normal week looks like

Monday might open with a storm-prep call ahead of hurricane season — the kind of job covered in our hurricane season storm debris prep guide — then a renovation cleanout near Snug Harbor Cultural Center, sized honestly in our Snug Harbor area cleanout guide. Tuesday could be a construction swap-out on a job that also needs a call before any digging starts, covered plainly in our New York 811 guide, right alongside a permit question worked out with our own NYC DOT dumpster permit guide.

South Shore cleanouts around Tottenville, Great Kills, Annadale and Eltingville keep our residential crews busy most weeks, and jobs near a historic district or that depend on Staten Island's own no-subway logistics get their own honest guide rather than a one-size-fits-all answer — see our Historic Richmond Town guide and our ferry logistics guide. And when Freshkills Park's landfill-to-parkland story comes up in a conversation about where debris actually goes, we point people to our Freshkills Park guide for the full picture — always closed to municipal waste since 2001, never described here as an active landfill.

Common questions

About Staten Island Dumpster Rental Solutions

Who runs Staten Island Dumpster Rental Solutions?

Vincent Marchetti, our founder & ceo, leads the company out of our 6845 Amboy Rd yard in Staten Island, alongside a small team that books, schedules, drives and follows up on every job across Richmond County. There's no national call center between you and the people running your delivery — you're talking to the company itself.

Is it really your own truck and your own crew on every job?

Yes. Staten Island Dumpster Rental Solutions runs your rental directly — our truck, our team, our yard, start to finish. We don't pass your job off to another company or a stranger driving a truck in someone else's paint. The person who answers the phone at (718) 808-9313 is the same company that shows up with the container.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes — licensed to operate in New York and carrying general liability and commercial auto coverage. Contractors and property managers who need documentation on file before we come on site can ask when they call.

What areas do you cover?

Staten Island and out to Tottenville, Great Kills, Annadale, Eltingville, New Dorp and St. George — that's our regular run out of the 6845 Amboy Rd yard, covering ground across the South Shore, Mid-Island and North Shore. If your address sits just outside that list, call anyway — we cover a lot of ground beyond it, too.

Do you know Staten Island's permit rules?

We work inside them every week. A container that sits entirely on your own property generally needs no permit; placement in a public street or the right-of-way is where a New York City DOT permit — filed by the carting company or contractor, not the homeowner — typically comes into play. We'll tell you plainly which situation your address falls into rather than guess. See our permit guide below for the full picture.

Do I need a permit for my dumpster?

In most cases, no — a container that sits entirely on your own driveway or property generally does not trigger a street permit. Curb or right-of-way placement is a different matter and runs through NYC DOT — see our permit guide below, or just ask when you call and we'll tell you plainly what applies to your address.

My street is narrow, or I'm not sure a container will fit. Can you still deliver?

Almost always, yes. Older residential blocks around St. George and Tottenville, and some of the tighter South Shore streets we cover, are something we size and place around regularly. Curb-lane placement, a different driveway angle, or a smaller container set differently are all normal answers. Describe the spot when you call — a two-minute conversation up front beats a failed delivery on the day.

Do you work with contractors and property managers on ongoing accounts?

We do, and a good share of our week is repeat trade with builders, remodeling contractors and property managers running more than one site across Richmond County. Accounts get priority scheduling on swap-outs, consistent handling across every site, and one line to call instead of a different vendor for every job.

Roughly what does a dumpster rental cost in Staten Island?

Pricing depends on dumpster size, debris type, and rental period. We keep affordable dumpster rental front and center with flat-rate options — one number covering delivery, the rental period, pickup and disposal. There's no published price list because job specifics genuinely change the number — call and we'll give you a straight, specific quote for your job, free, before anything is scheduled.
